Seitz Ross partner C.J. Seitz, together with Wilkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, represented United Rentals in an expedited proceeding arising from RAM's refusal to close a merger with United Rentals valued at $7 billion. The Delaware Court of Chancery declined to grant United Rentals’ request for specific performance of the merger agreement but left undisturbed a $100 million break-up fee due to United Rentals.
